10 Months in California!

Hadley hit 10 months old when we were in California with Chris' family. She is so much fun and finally crawling. She is getting into EVERYTHING! Chris and I just installed all the cabinet and drawer stoppers since she loves to open everything. She still is such a joy. Hadley has now started clapping and waving to people. Getting her to eat baby food is harder than ever! She wants table food as much as possible. She loves to try and imitate other people and the sounds or movements they make. She still loves playing with balls, books, and keys and will try to get to our phones every chance she can get. All four of her top front teeth have come through and her hair is getting longer and CURLY! She definitely gets that from Chris as well as everything else pretty much. She still is a great sleeper but has been giving us a little trouble since she hasn't felt well the past month with a sinus infection and now a double ear infection. She still hates more than anything to get her face wiped, dressed/undressed, held down in any way, and getting her nose sucked out. She may be a little stinker sometimes, but we love her so much and can't believe that she will be 1 in less than two months!

9 Months

Hadley will be turning 9 months in 3 days. I know I say it every month, but I really can't believe how fast she has grown! She already has her two bottom middle teeth and she is getting her top four front teeth, which means she has been quite cranky lately. She will be crawling any day now (even though I want her to stay immobile for as long as possible ha ha).
She still loves to scratch at everything to feel the different textures, she jabbers all the time and says "ma ma" "da da" "ba ba" and other words that she has no idea what she is saying, loves to do the spit noise and lip buzzes, is still obsessed with her feet and will grab them both when she is sitting in her stroller and pull them out to a full straddle, and grabs at everything! She is very alert and curious about everything. She is such a great sleeper and napper now thank goodness, and she loves her morning oatmeal more than anything.
She loves to go for walks, HATES getting her face wiped and hates to get dressed. She has started to eat her bows on her headbands even though I get mad at her every time. She still loves Baby Einsteins, when I jump up and down, and fans. She really loves playing with toy balls and turning pages of her books. Hadley has also started to wave, but I don't think she realizes what she is doing yet. The only way I can get her to eat her food (except for oatmeal) is to give her the lid of the pouch or container to play with - for some reason she will open her mouth when she gets to play with the lids. Whatever works. She also knows how to play "Where's Hadley?" and covers her face with her blanket so we can say "There she is!" when she brings it down. It's the best sound in the world to hear her laugh, talk, and pretty much jabber about anything else.
I really can't believe she is already 9 months, and we look forward to each day that we get to spend with her. Chris has been in Washington for the past 4 weeks and is dying to come home to be with us (mainly Hadley - I don't blame him). Hadley is always a very happy baby and very well behaved. Let's hope it stays that way. Fingers crossed.

Loves Grandpa, but who doesn't?

Loves to play with my wallet and pull everything out. This is how we get through church.

6 Month Photos and a Jump to 8 Months!

Markae and Cory were very generous and paid for a session at Busath for Hadley to get her 6 month photos done. They were absolutely perfect and we had such a hard time narrowing it down to just 6.

Hadley is 8 months now! Time flies! She has mastered rolling on both sides, sits up without support, jabbers all the time, still scratches everything to test it out, loves walks with Dad, pulls and eats grass, loves Bailey (Josh's dog that we watched for a month), has to hold the ball thrower when we take Bailey out, eats oatmeal and solids like a champ, still doesn't eat that much breastmilk, finally sleeps and naps great, claps with her feet, makes the spit sounds constantly, grabs EVERYTHING, loves loves loves to play with her feet and hold them out in a straddle position, loves to be sung and read to, and loves bath time. She really is so much fun, and I love staying home with her.

7 Months
Like I said, pulls and eats the grass

Just wanted to grab Cora's bow so badly
We love to watch her sleep
The most adorable pictures by Busath

Hadley took this herself during church, ha ha
We can't help but be immature and make her flip off the camera once in a while
This was another picture she took by herself. Even though I am anti-selfie, I have to admit it is so cute!
