2 Months and So Sleepy

Hadley has been reacting a lot more in the past few weeks. She smiles a lot and has laughed a few times but only in her sleep. She is able to focus on objects for a bit, and she even has grown some of her hair back! Yay! Some woman in Target said I had a darling little boy... I just nodded and said thank you; I guess I need to always put a bow on her until she gets more hair. She discovered that she has hands now, and all she wants to do is suck on them. Hadley weighs 11 pounds now, and I can't believe how much she has already grown. She is 10 weeks today and we can't imagine life without her.

Starting to swat at the dangling toys...more like me forcing her to play with them
The many sleeping faces of Hadley. She truly is my daughter if she can sleep anywhere, anytime.

Hadley never falls asleep like this. She was so tired that she fell asleep after I set her down for a few seconds.

Hadley's Baby Blessing and First Christmas

Hadley is now two months old and about 11 pounds. We just returned from Utah where she experienced her first Christmas. Although she won't remember any of it, it was fun to be with family and all the grandkids. She already has grown so much! We also blessed her at my parent's house where Chris gave a perfect and beautiful blessing. She looked so gorgeous, and it was a very special day for us. Unfortunately, Hadley got sick on the way home to Arizona. We had to take her into the ER in St. George. She has bronchialitis, which is just a fancy word for a really bad cold and cough, and is still trying to get healthy again. Hadley will be two months tomorrow, January 8th. Time really has flown by.
